Graduate Council Minutes

Graduate Council serves as an advisory board to the Dean of the Graduate College. The charge of Graduate Council is to: Consider matters pertaining to the policy of the Graduate College and present recommendations to the graduate faculty. Through the Dean of the Graduate College, enforce the rules and regulations of the graduate faculty. Propose and consider measures and policies for the improvement of graduate education. Assist the Dean of the Graduate College, as needed, with issues of discipline and in deciding on petitions of the students and staff. Evaluate new graduate programs and recommend approval or disapproval to the graduate faculty.
