The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders offers the Master of Arts Degree in Speech-Language Pathology through distance learning to cohorts of students in areas where personnel shortages exist and for groups of students where access to graduate education is limited. Students cannot apply to the Distance Learning program without first joining one of two cohorts that will move eligible students through the program together. The Distance Learning program is restricted at this time (Fall 2006 through 2008) to two cohorts: TTI (Testing & Training International), a private company based in New York who work with students in the New York City area and in Israel, and OMNI (Ohio Masters Network Initiative) for Ohio residents only who will work in Ohio schools. The course work requirements for the distance learning masters degree program are the same as for the on-campus program.
