Maps
Campus maps which you can download will help you navigate to
your destination once you step off the shuttle. West Campus
houses all academic programs (except those in the colleges of medicine,
pharmacy, nursing and allied health sciences), as well as housing the athletic
facilities, Langsam Library, Recreation
Center and student
housing. East
Campus is home to the medical colleges named above, as well as the
Kingsgate Hotel and Conference
Center, hospitals and the
Vontz Center for Molecular Studies.
On-Campus Shuttle
While the University of Cincinnati is a compact, contained campus that is easily walkable, shuttle service around
campus and into surrounding neighborhoods is also available. Shuttle stops are
located throughout campus and, in general, during the academic school year, one
can expect a shuttle about every 25-30 minutes – in some locations, every 7-10
minutes.
The university also makes late and extended service
available Thursday through Saturday. Be sure to check the shuttle schedule for routes
and times, and make note that over holiday periods and in summer the schedule
may change.
Off-Campus Shuttle
The Bearcat Transportation System began service during
Spring 2006, serving the university community adjacent to campus. The most
recent map and schedule are available online.
City Buses
The UC*Metro Program
provides free rides on any Cincinnati Metro bus, at anytime, on any Metro route for
UC students, faculty and staff who produce their photo ID at the bus stop.
Both Cincinnati Metro and the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky
(TANK) will connect you to buses that
serve the university. Check their routes and schedules for the best service
for you.
