Estimated Expenses

  ← back

Direct costs (such as tuition and fees, health insurance, and room and board if residing on campus) and indirect costs (such as transportation, books and supplies, parking, personal expenses and off-campus housing) comprise a student’s total annual expenses. As a general guide for your planning purposes, it may help you to know that the Student Financial Aid Office currently estimates $23,503 total expenses for a full-time Ohio resident living on campus for three quarters. Your direct costs are those billed by the university, but keep in mind that your indirect costs are a function of what lifestyle choices you make. Therefore, you should plan your budget around your decisions regarding housing, transportation, food, etc.
