The Career Development Center (CDC) offers career planning assistance and employment referral services to University of Cincinnati students. Career fairs, job search skills development, walk-in advising, professional development classes, interviewing workshops, resume assistance, and access to career resources are among the ongoing services provided. CDC is located on the 1st floor of University Pavilion in the Student Success Center — just one floor down from One-Stop. CDC: phone 556-3471.

The African American Cultural and Research Center (AACRC) serves as a resource for students to learn about the African American experience in the University of Cincinnati community. The center’s major focus is to address the academic, social, spiritual, and cultural needs of the African American student population. The Center is on the 1st floor of Sander Hall (556-1177).

The Ethnic Programs and Services office supports the mission of the University of Cincinnati by recruiting, retaining, and enhancing the growth and development of students of color. The office embraces the ever-increasing diversity of the university’s student body and workforce and encourages all members of the university community to become more enlightened about students-of-color. The office is located in 555 Steger Student Life Center (556-6008).

The UC Women’s Center is dedicated to meeting the diverse needs and interests of female students at the University of Cincinnati through activities and services. The office strives to identify and respond to student-driven concerns and is committed to action that benefits women. The Center is located in 571 Steger Student Life Center (556-4401).

Resident Education and Development provides students, faculty, and staff with living, learning, and work environments that facilitate the university’s mission of research, education, and community service. The office is located in 422 Dabney Hall.

UC Bearcat Bands offer a chance for non-music majors as well as music majors to play in a band at the university. The organization is expressed in the plural (Bands) because the band itself takes on several different forms depending on the quarter of the school year.

The Center for Community Engagement provides community service (volunteer work) and leadership opportunities to students. It is located at 565 Steger Student Life Center (556-1559).
